I have a 1993 Suburban with a 4l60e that is stuck in 2nd gear. I also have a 1999 chevy blazer with a 4l60e that was totaled. My question is, will the tranny from the 1999 S10 blazer fit in the 1993 K1500 suburban?

i the blazer had the 4.3L engine it will bolt up. But i'm not sure of the lenght difference between the 4l60e and a 700R4 might have to play with the tranny crossmember. wireing wise i really don't have a clue you prolly have to do a bit of wiring to make it all work. you might wanna check some place like summit they might sell a wiring kit to make it work because i've heard of the swap before but i cannot remember how it was done on the eletricalwise

no it will not work, 95 and newer had the pwc where as a 93 is a non pwc trans, also the 95 and newer trans has a different ohm rating on the servos and would not shift properly.

and the last problem is the blazer tranny has less clutch packs in it and would burn up trying to move a burban.

basically you need the 93-94 4l60e from behind a v8
