Has anyone ever ran the pitbull rockers? Are they good? How do they wear? Do they do good in mud? Rocks? Sand?

My buddy has a set of 35 X maybe 13.5 or 14. Real wide.
I think he got a real shitty set as i've never tried to drive such a crappy set of tires in my life. He rarely has em on his jeep and I found out why when i borrowed them for a weekend out of town (trailered to about 10km from trail). Just run like crap if your on the road. I have asked others and theirs are fine on the road so I suspect he got a dud and never brought it back. Off road wise I was running in mostly rock but wet ground going to it so wet tires on rock. They did good as did my buddy who had mud grapplers. As mentioned the guy hasn't run them on his jeep in some time so can't say how the tire wear is with them.

I then got a set of mud grapplers for my heep as they tire place had the size i wanted in stock. I'll buy a set of those for my 98 once it's ready before rockers.

Depends on whether they are the bias or radial version. Bias will always suck on the road, the radial is better but I don't know many people that buy these for a DD/weekend wheeler. They are too aggressive on the road in my opinion, probably almost as bad as running Boggers on the road.

If you want to drive on the road, needs to radial and try to find something with an interlocking pattern like a Goodyear MTR, Nitto Mud Grappler, etc etc. Less aggressive tread is better on the road.
