My name is Anthony, im a mechanic, I have a 1979 k10 thats lifted 6in with 37in mud grapplers on 16in aluminum rims also with dana 60 rear axle, dana 44 font axle, 3/4 ton hubs(8 lug), four speed transmission, has a basic 350 in it, but i have a 1969 four bolt main 350 thats been bored .30 over, forged pistons and rods, valves and lifters done, comp cam and crank, comp cam steel roller rockers and fuely 202 heads but, i want to do aluminum heads on this motor but need advise to see if this would be a smart choice. I really want to put this motor in my truck. This is my first 4x4 build so i'm looking for advise on this build, what I can do to make this truck run great and be able to climb or go anywhere. I also have a 1992 suburban k1500 for a every day driver also looking for advise on what to do to it for light offroading. I really enjoy building trucks and i really want to start to get into offroading and rock crawling. |
