wrangler tranny noises???

i have a 90 wrangler 4cyl5spd. lately thers been like clattering noise in my tranny.. it only makes the noise when its ideling and once in a while there will be a noise like a ping sound. anyone know what this might bE?

Sound like a throw out bearing to me. If it only happens with the clutch out TOB is the most likely culprit. If not, change the fluid and count the days.
