wondering if my local dealership knows what they are talking about

this is my second post, and in my first i said i have 3:56 gears in my 2006 cc frontier 4x4 (thats what the dealership told me by giving them the vin), and after searching the web and reading post at numerous forums, i have figured out that this truck's axle code is ca33, and is a c220 axle (so i read in a forum at nissan). so...what im left wondering is..the gear ratio in this rear end must be a 3:36 ratio. is this correct to assume? i hope someone can answer this for me as im fed up with dealing with the dealership. and also can anyone tell me if parts can be bought for this rear end seperately or would i have to buy the whole rear end? (to hear the dealership tell it i can only buy the whole rear end) thanks for any and all help...

not sure on a stock ratio but parts can be bought separately.
