what size socket for axle hub nut

2001 dodge ram 1500
need to replace u joints on front axle.
Anyone know what size socket I need to remove the hub nut?

look in the tech section in the banner on the top of this page. theres a great write up on it with all the info... im just to lazy to look it up for ya

just a tip but you dont need to take the axle nut off to replace the u-joints. just pull the 3 bolts on the back of the hub and replace the u joints with the hub on, its a little heavier, but it saves you a stub shaft. and im speaking from experience.

I was thinking about doing it like that. I did that two years ago when I dod the ball joints. I thought it might be to hard to get at the u joint with the hub attached. Maybe I'll try it. save me from buying a socket.
