gmc c2500 rear end identification

hi all...i have a 89 gmc sierra 5.7 2wd c2500...i'm trying to learn if my rear end is limited slip or something else...it has a 14 bolt cover plate and on the case it says cfo 9690...i didn't find a tag on it and the information on the inside of my door is mainly missing...thanks

Pull the cover and take a peak or jack the rear up and rotate a tire. If the opposite tire rotates the same, you have some type of traction device.

look in the glovebox, if there is a g80 listed in the codes then it has a limited slip, or at least it did from the factory, they tend to blow up so its a possibility that it is a open rear
