gen 2 front bumper brackets

just thought i'd share that the front bumper brackets were not the same on my 94 as ones off an 00 or 01. i figured they would have been, but i had to drill new holes in them. just the center brackets were different. i was also only able to use 2 bolts, not the 3 from factory. i had to cut about 1/2" off the back of the bracket so it would line up where it was suppose to. there is my useless tech for the month.

HE'S RIGHT THO, I HAD A SET OF BODY LIFT BRACKETS OFF A 00 AND TRIED TO USE THEM ON THE FRONT OF MY 94 AND ONLY 1 OF THE HOLES WOULD LINE UP.....

I did a parts search, and the front center brackets changed in 97. There are 4 bolt holes on the 94-96's, and 3 bolt holes on the 97-01's.

I'm pretty sure the "Sport" models are differnt still, so there are 3 different styles?

I'm not sure on the newer sport model packages, because there is a reinforcement bumper under the plastic. It looks like that reinforcement bumper has all the same mounting spots as the 97-01 brackets. So its the same, however the reinforcement bumper gets covered with plastic.
