few lift questions
i have a 2004 jeep wrangler with a 4inch rough country lift on it now. my question is what will i need to do to stack a 2'' coil spacer lift on top of it? Would i need adjustable control arms? Adjustable front and rear track bar? any advice is appreciated..

RE: few lift questions
I don't know much about the spacers. But just out of curiosity? Why don't you go with a 2" or 3" body lift? Just wondering. That'd give you more room to run a bigger tire and it'd be easier on the wallet.

RE: few lift questions

what are your plans?
i have 4" of suspension lift on mine with 33"s and its all i need for now
i put on some tube fenders in the front to give me more clearance and will be trimming the rear fender wells

RE: few lift questions
You should be fine with just a spacer. At the worst, you will need longer control arms and possibly a SYE for the t-case. But you wont know until you lift it and find out.

with mine instead of a SYE I lowered the transfer case
u can buy the spacer kit for cheap to drop the TC and then for me no SYE was needed (yet)

RE: few lift questions
I installed a Tera Flex short shaft Sye and Pro Comp CV drive shaft last month to eliminate my TC drop. I want to run 35's but I will have to regear my axles and I want to find a D44 or ford 8.8 and Get an Aussie Locker for my D30.

RE: few lift questions
Run 35'? Then why go bigger, I had 35's on 3 inches of lift with room to stuff. DO NOT put spacers on top of your springs. Your arms will have way to much arc, resultsing in a terrible ride...yes even if you get adjustable ones. If you end up doing it any, you will regret it and take them out. 4 inshes is ample room for 35's any way.

your DW could be many things
check your steering components..make sure bolts are tight
make sure bushings are good (trac bar bushings...tie rod ends..etc..
make sure steering is aligned
the steering dampner shock u could need a new one of those or a stronger one...
unbalanced tires due to wearing improper
lift the tires off the ground and see if you have any play in the tires..pushing them side to side

oo and dont go 55 Smile go slower and faster haha
