I have an early 98 2500HD with the 12 valve cummins and a 5spd manual. I have upgraded the diesel with high performance pump, injectors, and turbo. I have ARB's front and rear and an atlas transfer case. For the 2nd time I have lost 5th gear in my tranny and I was thinking about a swap. Will a later model 6 spd bolt in or am I looking at major mods? Also does anyone know of another option? Due to my low gearing, the truck needs a higher gear anyway.
