dodge ram side mirror swap...

so the other day i was attempting to back in to a parking stall that i should not have tried to...so now i need a new passenger side mirror. my question is this...i have powered mirrors and all i really need to replace is the chrome housing for the unit. the glass, motor, etc is still perfect. can i just buy a new, non-motorized mirror unit and swap out the parts? they are obviously so much cheaper, but i am not sure if the housing is the same size to accomodate the motor.

any help would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

nope. Ya gotta buy the whole mirror. I sold my only extra chrome passenger side power mirror a couple months ago to a fellow PS member. If ya need a drivers side I have one

i have a set of chrome electic mirrors off of a 96... pm me if ur interested...

dang it jim...i was hoping that was not the case.

i am actually looking for the flat black mirrors...anyone out there got any?
