cranks before firing
hey guys, 95 dodge 318 4x4
just did the fuel pump (just the pump, not the whole assembly), its runs good and has more power than before, BUT it cranks over and over before it fires when trying to start it.

I figured that I must have gotten air in the fuel lines and it needed to be purged, so i did that with the valve on the fuel rail until i got gas up (primed the pump, bled the valve, repeat), worked great for about half a day then back to cranking over and over before firing up..

any ideas?

RE: cranks before firing
look for any moist area. it's going to be a very small leak. most likely at a connection, a blead screw. make sure the clamps are tight, check the lines for any small cracks. best time to look is after it has been running a while. fuel dries up quick.
