ok my question is i got a 96 ram ext cab short box with 60/14 bolt with a 7" lift and 38 bogger/swamper i need a little more clearance and i have a body lift for it that i have not installed. this truck is drivin very hard and may see sum air time. it will be going in to hard drivin comps.

know i need to know if haveing a body lift will the cab flex to much and bend everything up?? i dont want to tottal mutalize the cab im just looking for a cheap lift and it would make it a hell of a lot easier to pull moters/trannys/t-cases ect.

Thanks Rob

hey man i got a body lift on my ram and it has 5in of suspension also i had alittle sqeking and rubbing nosies until the spacers set in but no noticable body flex i had it for about 10000 miles now on and off road it is the best way to get a cheap easy lift to clear the tires

ok i no they work good for on road. but does anyone have one on there wheeler. any regrets on putting it on??

a couple of buddies have them on older rigs but they keep telling me not to put it on due to body flex but if you guys are running them on your rams and not haveing a problem i think i will give it shot

How tall is the body lift? I'd say 1" would be safe but anything over that is just asking for trouble if your going to be beating on it hard and flexing it out a lot.

i cracked the body mounts with my 3" performance accessories kit. when i removed it i had to weld up the cracks in 3 on one side and 2 on the other.

if i were to do it again, i'd add some plate on top of the body lift puck to increase teh surface area since the pucks are smaller than the stock mounts

I have a 3" summit kit on mine and have beat the {expletive} out of it and I would do it again in a heartbeat. The one thing that sucked was it seemed to take way longer than I expected to put it in.
