body lift help
did the search and couldnt find anything, but i was wondering if anybody had pics of where to weld the a/t extension and the transfer case shifter extension(or how you may have trimmed to fit it) puttin the 3 inch pa lift in this weekend and wouldnt mind seeing it before doing it. its going in a 95 1500
then you shouldent have to weld anything enless they dont have extenders in that kit i welded in a rod in my shifter i will post a pic later but my t-case i dident do yet but i will try and do it soon and get you a pic of that also

lifts in and went pretty easy only ran into 2 problems, the first was not tightening the steering extension fell out as soon as the wheel was turned.. the other is that my shifter lever indicator is one gear lower so when tranny is in drive the dash says 2... and the extension was installed??? anybody else have this problem?? any fixes??

Did you tighten the steering extension? Did it come apart at the shaft or from the gear box? It has a locking collar that tightens with a bolt (prob a 10mm bolt).
The shift lever can be adjusted via a slide (similar to the one that you would use to adjust your shifting mechanism on your transfercase). Look under the driver side of the truck towards the front of the transmission. You will see the transmission shifting mechanism -- adjust as necessary to get your gear in the right slot. If you are still looking for it next weekend, I will have my other Dodge here and will snap a few pics for you.

it slid off where it meets the steering box so we put it back on and re tightened it but the extension only sits about half way on the threaded stud of the steering box???
