RE: body lift help
lifts in and went pretty easy only ran into 2 problems, the first was not tightening the steering extension fell out as soon as the wheel was turned.. the other is that my shifter lever indicator is one gear lower so when tranny is in drive the dash says 2... and the extension was installed??? anybody else have this problem?? any fixes??

Did you tighten the steering extension? Did it come apart at the shaft or from the gear box? It has a locking collar that tightens with a bolt (prob a 10mm bolt).

The shift lever can be adjusted via a slide (similar to the one that you would use to adjust your shifting mechanism on your transfercase). Look under the driver side of the truck towards the front of the transmission. You will see the transmission shifting mechanism -- adjust as necessary to get your gear in the right slot. If you are still looking for it next weekend, I will have my other Dodge here and will snap a few pics for you.

RE: body lift help
it slid off where it meets the steering box so we put it back on and re tightened it but the extension only sits about half way on the threaded stud of the steering box???
