i watched it cause i wanted to see what they would get for the "restomod" 67 mustang, other than them fuel inj it i didnt see what the hype was all about, and it only went for 30K, i wasnt suprized..i think mine looks better, i have the fuel inj stuff here if i want to do it but dont see the point..think i should send this to the auction??..lol, its for sale for 13K, much lower than the 30K they got on the show..lol
I watched it for about 3-4hrs, and the coin getting thrown around there was sick. The tri-five Chevy cars were getting over $100K. I couldn't believe the 440 Rodrunner that got like $130K. That '70 Hemi 'Cuda that pulled $250K was pretty nuts too. There were some good deals like the $70K Lamborghini Countach and a few of the nicer modded cars. It seemed like the factory stock stuff was pulling crazy money though.
Hate to tell y'alls but the auction this morning and may still be going on not sure, was from 2005 not 2006, I watch it EVERY year, I would give all three of my testicles for some of those cars, but its ALWAYS a blast seeing some of those cars, and hearing any muscle car fire up just lights up my life, then I realize that I have $3.82 in my pocket and I realize that is probably as close as I will get to owning one of em, but it's ok I got my truck to be happy with, but AWESOME auction with great personalities on the show as well.

What model AMC went for $300K??? Most AMCs are known for being affordable. I've seen super nice AMC AMXs go for like $20K. I've always wanted a '68-'70 AMX with a 390 and a 4-speed.
heeh theres more then one barret jackson auction a year, it goes on in different states one of the showrooms for them is here in scottsdale and they come once a year to scottsdale to sell soem cars. Fun to watch
