They'll know at NAPA. All it is is a half ton size on one side of the joint and 1 ton (14 bolt) on the other. If you weren't so far away I'd just send you the one I have but it'll be cheaper and faster to go buy one locally.

Cra_ I misunderstood the question. You will have to buy new U bolts, as the 14 b tubes are much bigger. You will also need a conversion u-joint as well to go from a 1/2 ton drive line to a 1 ton yoke on the axle.
Now you understand?

do the new axles have the same gear ratio you have now?
if so then just swap the 8 lug outer parts from the donor axle onto your current axle, that is the only difference between the 1/2 ton and the 3/4 ton front axle
for the rear you may not need a conversion joint depending on what ujoint your truck has, the 14 bolt uses a 1350 joint and the 10/12 bolts had usually a 1310 or 1330 front and the rear axle usually had a 1330 but some times i have seen them with a 1350 joint

the rear ubolts need to be a bigger spacing to them and the spring plate that the ubolts go through is bigger as well

the new axles are 4.10s so no the only reason im runnin the big bearing D44 is it came with the deal for the 14B and I havent found a D60 yet. so if the 44 and the 10 bolt are alot alike I wont need a conversion joint for the front, correct??

the d44 spindles, calipers caliper brackets and hubs all bolt on to the axle you have in there now, you just swap that over then there is no new ubolts or possible conversion joint needed for the front.
the rear is where the joint conversion is whats in question, some 1/2 tons had the bigger joint but many did not it depends on what your truck has right now, you definitely will need the 14 bolt spring plates

what year big hub 44 do you have?
