I'm about to order some 35x12.50R17 BFG mud-terrains and mount them on Mickey Thompson classic II wheels. The wheels are 17x9 with 5 inches of backspacing, do you guys think this is gonna be a problem? I'm running 5 inches of lift, and I also don't want the tires to be in so far that they look goofy.

i dont know. those wheels may rub on your tre's. i have a pair of 2005 take offs that i cant even get on because of the tre's. i think the bs is around 6" or so. it looks like there is about an inch in there too. just wanted to let you know, hopefully they will fit and you'll have no probs. i ended up buying a set of rock crawlers w/ 4.75" of bs w/ 315/75/r16 procomp mts. they fit great and i'm pretty sure they are just about 34"

They would clear I think. The factory backspacing is around 5". The only problem I can see would be the tire rubbing the lower control arm.
