Will Mustang 5.0 Headers fit my 95 5.0 truck?

I have a set of Mac 1-5/8" Shorty headers laying around and I was wondering if they will fit my 1995 5.0 in my truck. Thanks in advance for any help Very Happy

They will bolt to the cylinder heads/engine, yes. Whether they will bolt directly up to the head pipe/y-pipe is another equation, and the answer to that is probably no, they won't be a direct bolt-on.

Ahh yes!, I never thought about the fit to the Y pipe.
If anyone has ever done this before I hope they chime in.

I had a pair of mustang headers I was going to try and put on my truck. Like ZacD said, they wont bolt up to the y-pipe. The collectors on mustang headers exit farther back than the truck headers. You could prolly get it to work if you had a whole new y-pipe made though.

i think they will hit the frame or soemthing but i dunno for sure

They will fit but ur y pipe prolly isnt gonna bolt up. Im running thunderbird long tubes on my F150 lol

I bolted a used set of MAC 5.0 headers onto my 93 ford f-150. They bolted up fine to the heads but i had to drive it to the Exhaust shop while it sounded like a friggin Nascar. Exhaust man ran some true duals from the new headers back. The 5.0 headers flow better than the truck headers. And remember to have em cut you a hole for your O2 sensor in the new pipe.
