99 Ram 1500 Sport 5.9L vacuum leak.
Only sucks air between like 1500 and 2500 RPMs at least that you can hear. I know the plenum is good just replaced it less then 1000 miles ago and no internal vacuum found. Just looking for a lil adivce as were to start past the plenum. Replaced the IAC cuz it was sucking air at idle. IAC fixed that, but still leaks when you get on it. Any ideas?

Vacuum line to cruise control, under the battery tray!

Is it a loud vacuum leak? You probably already checked it, but the gasket on the top of the throttle body is always prone to cracking or slipping out of place. Sometimes, as you get on it, the motor twists and flexes the mounts and the air tube will then create a gap on top of the TB.

I thinki it might be in the EVAP system. when i plug up all the lines on the motor except for the PVC and brake booster it quits sucking. I also capped off the lines to the axle for the 4 wheel drive and the thermostat controls. how complex is the evap system?
