Lets hear you tips for drying out the inside of water logged boots. I completly filled my 14 in leather firefighting boots with water the other day and cant for the life of me get them dry. i've been leaving them outside during the day in the sun and using a hair dryer but the bottom foot sections are still soaking. i heard stuffing them with newspaper will help but dont have any other ideas. anyone got any advice?

i purchased a boot dryer from The SportsmansGuide a few years back. best investment ive made. IT will dry out your boots overnight.

thats by far the easiest way. but leaving them out in the sun, takes a while, but will work eventually.

Take them apart! Insoles and all and leave them in the sun. That'll get them dry. Thumbs Up!

You could take a hair drywe and put it in one boot at a time for a while.

i stuffed them with newspaper last night and it worked like a charm, alittle time with the hair dryer and they should be wearable. i'm definitly looking into a boot dryer because i hate having to wear rubber boots while these dry.

I've had mine sopping wet multiple times, like had to pour the water out of them when I took em' off. And not once have they not been completly dry when I get them off the boot dryer. Mine is a Red Wing, but I think there are cheaper models out there.
