SJ 6" leaf pack and shackle flip question ...
01-16-2006, 06:39 PM
Post: #1

Has anyone thats running a 6" SJ leaf pack #DR56S in the rear taken the AAL out and seen how much lift you lose?

I want to get rid of AAL and the stock block and run a shackle flip and zero rate but need to know how much lift I'm gonna need to replace them with.

Also, whats the best place to buy the BDS flip and zero rates...

I know this has been covered and I did a search but in all honesty I gave up after trying to wade thru most of the irrelevant posts between actual info.

Thanks...

dont' know if the info i have will help. with my 4" pack, after i put in the SJ 2" AAL, i only gained 1.5" of lift, not 2". i'm a$$uming that the 6" pack is the same thing i have, which netted me 5.5" of lift. so i'm thinking you will get 4" of lift if you take out the AAL.

That might be the info I need. Is the AAL they sent you about 33-3/4" long and about 7/8" thick?

The last time I priced out a bds shackle flip it was $142 + shipping. I think it was from jdsoffroad. Swissmountain also sells bds.
