Ripping out carpet in '98 ext. cab
so, I was thinking about ripping out the carpet in my truck and putting down this dupli-color undercoating. anybody done this??

So are you planning on just having the dupli-color or are you going to put the carpet back in? Plenty of people have undercoated their floors but normally put the carpet back in. Shoot you can even go for the rubber floors, easy to clean and pretty cool.

Keep in mind that you have padding under the carpet that keeps down the noise. Might want to take her for a drive before tossing the carpet. You can replace the padding with standard home carpet jute.

I've been think of doing the dupli color and putting the carpet back down ... just because my a/c keep plugging up every summer and overflowing all over the place. BUT I am like him I don't see much use in the carpet as I have those cabelas floor mats down anyways.

Line the floor with rhino liner or any truck bed liner...easy to clean and works wonders on noise.
