It has the white crusty stuff around the edges of the window, which i a$$ume means it leaked at one time. Also, when it rained yesterday, i noticed a small amount of water in the window channel. How do you go about redoing the weatherstripping or sealing or whatever on a sliding rear window? Is this a common place for leaks?

check your brake light... on my 1500 it leaked there, and ran down the window and filled up that channel. There was a TSB about that seal around the third brakelight leaking.

I never found the TSB for my truck (1996). Is it just to replace the gasket? After all, thats the only hole up there for water to go in. Either way. it should sit there and run down the edge of the inside of the cab shell and out the drain holes in the bottom of the body i would think. If anyone find that TSB, please let me know.

Thanks!
