The straps were messed up so the came out. (Gawd I love my cordless sawzall)
The "space age" skid plate was broken in 3 pieces and only one bracket was holding it on:
FOr now the tank is in the back.
I have to run the new fuel line and wires, and do somthing with the filler, but between the cops nosing around last night and the darkness, I decided to call it quits.
Hmmm... I think I'd try to get a fuel cell or cover that with some diamond plate or something. Not sure if it is illegal, but I'd imagine having the tank out in the open like that would get you stopped.

Are you fawkin' kiddin' me? Just because it's blue and it's a Dodge doesn't mean it's "just like his"
RamV- 360ci, 46re, 241-J (4:1), D60/D70, Leaf rear, 98-99HD steering, Disk wheel brakes, 37" Krawlers on 17"
Pellett's- 24v CTD, 47re, 241-D (2.72:1), 2.5T Rocks, Coilover/4-link rear, Full hydro F/R, Pinion brakes, 46" Baja Claws on 15x13 Beadlocks
If they are both just like each other, then I could compare my rig (prebuild) to how it will be once I'm done with the buildup, and refer to them as the same.
Yea they are both blue Dodge with exocages, but the tube work is so different that the exocage almost isn't even considered a simliarity. They both lack doors too though I guess.
RamV's rig is awesome, but I think it's apples and oranges. Two totally different rigs for different kinds of wheeling.
edit- just to clarify for everybody what rig we are talking about...

It was better then on the parking lot
Yeah, it may see one or two trips like that but I have a much difference plan.
I don't think most officers would notice it though, I mean its not labelled like CO2, and really tanks are clearly exposed on big rigs.
We'll see how it shapes up, but it will change.
Oh yeah, American is right, my truck is missing the giant stinger. But it is blue.
Evolution didn't have specs for their joints, but the only part I saw where they would be superior to the rock krawler's was the 27 degrees of misalignment vs. the 20 degrees the rock krawler has. They don't have prices either. Might have to e-mail them in a bit.
