Please check when a post was last updated - or when the question was asked. If you're going to provide TECH then by all means respond to any post. If you're just going to give your opinion on something like "What colour should I paint this?" or "What brand of whatever should I use?" and the post is old, then people are just going to think you're a complete idiot for not noticing that the post is extremely old.

So PLEASE, check the date of a post, and if you're going to dig it up, make sure it's for a good reason.
