A volunteer for Mid Michigan Boxer Rescue submitted her dog's picture in the Bissell dog contest. If you vote for her dog, Jake, and he wins, they win $10,000 that she will donate to the rescue.

If she wins, this would go to a really good cause. This rescue (unlike many from what I've heard some here say) prides itself on taking sick, injured, neglected and abused dogs and getting them back into the best condition and environment they can. They are very choosy about who they'll let adopt dogs, where certain dogs can and can't go, and aren't worried about doing this for any sort of profit or personal financial gains. They've recently started getting dogs that were going to be sold for research. They've gotten a couple seriously starved and abused dogs in lately, and even some with costly medical conditions. The more funds they have, the more dogs they can help.
