Hey ya'll I remember my dad talking about how many moons ago there was a company that made a kit to drop a perkins diesel into a chevy pickup. I've googled it but aint found much. Ya'll got any links for puting a perkins in any kind of pickup?

i know a guy thats got a perkins 3 popper in a chebby, but i have no idea about a kit..... im sure it wouldnt be very difficult. email advance adapters to see if they can hook you up with a bellhousting adapter.
Well I'm gunna go with the perkins straight 6 that they put in alot of the old Massey combines, its like 350 some odd cubes, plus all the pickups I've seen have got that motor. If I could find a kit that would fit in my W200 I'd be
Urban, Perkins is a motor used in alot of the old Massey Combines and tractors. Now they mainly use them for irigation and boats, but boy I tell you what, you hook a perkins I6 to a 5.9 cummins and it will drag that cummins around the parking lot
