PS3 : Battlefield Bad Company 2

Who's playing it? We had a thread about PS3 guys playing Modern Warfare 2. I know a lot of people made the switch over or still play both. Or maybe people that didn't have Modern Warfare 2 before now have Bad Company 2.

I know TheBoss and myself play fairly often. Who else is out there?

I bought it for xbox and thought it sucked. Sold it to a coworker.

I want to buy it for Xbox really bad but now Kurt is making me second guess myself. Why did it suck? You don't like blowing up buildings and stuff?

I first played through the campaign and loved it. Then I got on the online multiplayer and hated it! Like bad! I didn't like the multiplayer at all and was considering taking it back. But once I started playing all the different modes and getting the hang of it. I love it. I play it a helluva lot more the modern warfare now.

definitely took some getting used to after 2-3 years of COD play. I like it, but don't necessarily love it.

there are a few bugs in it that irk the crap out of me, but i know what they are and I can usually work around them.. usually

It's definitely a nice change of pace from the same modern warfare 2 maps and 1 million glitches on cod. But as soon as the stimulus map pack comes out on May 4th for MW2. I prolly won't be on Bad Company 2 for awhile.

I have it on PC. It definately takes some getting used to. I like how you have to compensate for gravity over long distance. There are glitches and bugs, but what game doesn't these days?

since i love my recon class i use mortar strikes, i hate it when my mortar strike lands on my head because the designator picks up the bush or tree or wall in front of you, even though the view from the designator is clear.

also, sometimes when using an alternate weapon (rpg, at mine, sensor, defib, etc) and you go back to your weapon, the primary weapon is what you are holding but you were holding the secondary weapon when you used the alternate. happens once and a while to me.

also, returning to primary weapon after certain tasks will fire the weapon, wasting a round and giving away your position. with a bolt action rifle, this can be a problem since you cant stop the reload once it starts and you need your pistol.

the bugs like guys in walls, guns coming through a tree, crap like that the all "map" based games have is one thing. its these other functional issues that bug me.

You PS3 guys didn't get the Stimulus yet? I downloaded it a week ago I guess and the maps are pretty cool. They are very much like the other maps, so nothing strange. It's just nice to have more variety.
