Occasional Non-start
Truck specs in sig.

Every so often my truck will not turn over, no click, no nothing. BUT if I shift through the gears down to 1st then back to park it will fire right up. Its not bothersome since I can always start it. But any idea just out of curiosity?

Sounds like the PRNDL (often referred to or called a "prindle") switch is going bad on the transmission. This is like a neutral safety switch or clutch-pedal depress switch on a manual...the PRNDL switch cuts the (key) ignition circuit if the transmission is not either in park or neutral. Yours is either out of adjustment/loose or going bad. Easy enough to fix or replace.
