OBD II code reader
Has anyone used these inexpensive OBD ii code readers?

Will it work on my truck and read ALL the codes on my 2001 Dodge?

Whats the diff between these inexpensive ones that cost like $80 and the $600 ones?

It says it will read and clear the codes.

RE: OBD II code reader
I have one from harbor freight, $40 job. told me my o2 sensor was bad, changed it and runs fine now, mine came with a book of codes and what they are. it also picked up a shift modual out on my wifes van (wire had come off) I dont do enough to warrent a expensive one, not sure what all they do but I just wanted one to pick up the basics. it will clear the codes. I have a 97 dodge ram and a 05 caravan. I would consider myself a driveway mechanic, if you want it for a profession, buy good quality. me, I'v used mine 3 times in 4 years and a friend used it once. not a high milage tool for me
