Those slats help adjust the belt right? What part does the alternator bolt to?

I wouldn't be asking so many questions if I have my truck here...I am sure it is obvious. But with my truck still stuck in a tranny shop, was wanting to get this welded up and ready for when it gets out.

Its hard to see but the C bracket wraps around the Alt. The 2 outer most holes on the C, will bolt up with the stoc alt bolts.

Yea the slats are for ajustments. I put the slats on the oposite brackets when I had them cut. This way you can tack weld a nut to the other side and not have to hold it with a wrench.

Here is the pulley I used. If you look at the back , there is a lip that has to be flush with the outer edge. I took a ruler and laid it accross the outer edge. I would grind a little and check it. I did this till the lips was flush all the way around. Be very carefull not to grind too much. And make sure its even. Or it will wobble and mess up the alt bearing and/or the belt.
Count the grooves on your belt to make sure you get the right pulley.

Updates several issues:
1) the dip stick needs to be bent slightly fit fit through the hole on the bracket. Pic 2
2) on the lower aly mounts is a sleeve. That sleeve needs to be cut flush with the rear bottom alt mount. pic 3
3) I don't believe anyone has put theirs together yet, cause no one has mentioned any thing about this.
I have a little bad news.
I was welding up a set of bracket for Madd and my self when I noticed this. The bracket on the left side of this picture has 3 parts, the flat plate with 4 hole in it is the part I am talking about.
Well, they were cut about 1" too short. It is tall enough, its just not wide enough. Sorry
Pics 4, 5, and 6.
