after having 35's on my 1/2 ton's for over a year now, i figured i'd step it up a bit and go with the dana 60/70 combo and some 39.5" Iroks. I've been searching for about 2 months trying to find a good deal on some and i finally did.
dana 60/70 combo out of a 98 3/4 ton cummins...$600 bucks. 3:55 gears as of now but i will be going with 5:13 gears, detroit locker in the rear and ARB in the front. I'm also gonna run the EMS offroad C.A.D. delete kit with the 35 spline inners in the front.
I'm going to run adjustable long arms from the DC brackets i already have mounted, and i'm going to run the sky jacker 7" coils with a 3" spacer for the front. For the rear im going to do a BDS shackle flip with a 3" or 4" block.
But for now i'm going to start getting the axles cleaned up.

I've always thought you had one of the coolest Ram's! That color scheme is probably my favorite. Glad to see your upgrading it man. Is this ruck your daily driver or are you making this your strict wheeling rig? Hell of a deal on the D60/70 combo.
Damn, definitely a good deal on the axles. Let me know if you need an extra hand at some point, I'd be glad to help out! After this there's not gonna be a whole lot for you to do to that thing... it'll be a pretty killer rig at that point.
Sweet find on the axles Cant wait to see some progress.
Wont a BDS shackle flip pretty much level the truck off, or do you really need taller blocks? I was just figuring if you truck sits level now and your going up another 4-5" in the front, that seams to be usually what a shackle flip will gain. What spring setup do you have in the rear now?
And whats happening with your stock axles? Aren't they geared along with the front having a EMS lockout kit and the rear having a locker?

right now the rear spring setup is just a AAL and a 5" block. Once i add the shackle flip i'm sure the 5" block will make it sit [censored] end up so i'll probably go with a 3" or 4" block to level it out with the front.
And yes my stock axles are regeared. The rear has a locker and the D44 has the EMS offroad lockout kit and the c.a.d. delete kit. I'll probably just put them on ebay. Maybe some jeep guy will buy them for a grand.

Heck, anybody with a half ton looking to re-gear there stockers would buy them for a grand, at least I would. Much cheaper than just re-gearing alone, plus you get the locker and front lockouts to boot.
If you were coser I would scarf 'em up.
