New purchace: 1986 Honda 250ES!
Hey guys, I just picked up a sweet blast from the past for 400 bucks today. It's an '86 Honda "Big Red" (no pics of it as of yet). It's a 250cc shaft drive with electric start and reverse for those who aren't familiar with the old trikes. My dad and I collect old Honda 3 wheelers and I came across this one by accident and I couldn't pass it up.
This makes addition #4 to our collection. Below is a pic of my '81 ATC200 (left) and my dad's super mint original '83 ATC200.
I'm excited to restore this old 250; it's the first 250 we've ever had. I'll have to put some pics up tomorrow. I have some plans for this one.....

Thanks Matt, yeah I was pertty much raised on these things; that's why I have such a soft spot for them.
Heres some pics of the new one:
The plastics on this one have seen better days, but I plan on replacing them and bring this back to orig. condition as much as I can. Maybe some mud tires in the future, too

I was planing on nick naming it the "Keg Runner" since a beer keg would fit perfectly on the back. I was going to try fitting 27"s on it but we'll see.
What size tires are on it now? 23's lol i say throw some mud gear tires on it. they are pretty cheap. check out http://www.nebraskatire.com im thinking about getting an extra set for the grizzly since my tires are wearing out.

They are 25"X12"X10" (90% sure), but I'll have to X2 check tomorrow in the daylight. I was thinking I'd probably have enough room to fit 28's max. There is a lot of room under there for new rubber since the suspension doesn't use that much space to travel, even under a heavy load.
