I saw that in truck trend awhile back, they were using trxus sts's on them when they were testing them in the sand dunes. Pretty neat, but not as good looking as an H1. -Jordan

That thing is probably one of the ugliest vehicles ever constructed! But after reading the article it is also pretty badass Shocked

If you are a fan of innovative engineering you have to read the article. If you cant get the link to work, here are some key points I thought were pretty awesome.

aluminum bodied (same as old HMMWV's)

the Shadow uses a series of magnets for propulsion, driven by the main diesel motor

The vehicle is even capable of movement on a single hub motor. (you could have 3 motor failures and still get home!)

two axis pneumatic suspension, which allows the tires to be pulled in, reducing its footprint from a 79 inches to 62 inches.

The ground clearance can also be lowered to .1m.
