Just hear me out. I know this idea will probably get shot down fairly quick. But I propose we add a NWS "Not work safe" area. Maybe it can have some requirements on that specific forum like a certain post count and maybe even age check through the member profile. Or just a simple notice on the top of that specific forum that you must be 18 or older to view.
I've notice that on a lot of the other boards I visit they have sections like this that are quite popular. There are some good joke posts. Some adult type posts even maybe. A lot that makes you laugh. For example a few of the thread titles I can think of right of my heads from GMFullsize.com in their NWS area are...
-Hot chick thread
-Animated GIF Thread *NWS*
-Pics that make you say WTF
-Make your own motivational poster
So on and so forth. It's one of my favorite forums sections of their whole site and it doesn't matter if I check it even a few hours later there's always new posts. They do have a sticky thread in the NWS forum of some specific rules like no real pictures of dead people and stuff and some other rules and what not. It is almost very comparable to having a section like what 4chan.org is, if anyone is familiar with that. A lot of the same meme's and sayings are even used in the GMFullsize one. Like stuff like "U Mad", "Fap", "Deal with it" and so on and so forth.
Again I know this is a pretty radical idea for this forum but I personally would love to see it. I know this will instantly be shot down but it doesn't hurt to just put a feeler out there to see what other people think. It might even be worth trying a section like this one here for just a few weeks or so to see how it does. I could almost guarantee it would be one of the more popular forums on the site and it would keep people here that can contribute in other forums as well. Then there would be no need for me to even visit GMFullsize or 4chan! ha ha
It seems like there is already some good feedback. But in the end it is Jason's call. Where is he at?
Make me a mod over the forum and I'll make sure it has some rules. I'm on here every morning and night, and sometimes even throughout the day. I'll even write out the Official NWS Rules sticky.
I have an area kinda like that on my forum.... the members requested a donation option to give back to the forum and we started a VIP section with essentially no rules. We have one for females only, a general forum, and [censored].
It works well for us because 99% of the people willing to donate cold hard cash are NOT the ones you have to moderate....
