Any of you guys race Legends Series race cars? A friend and I are looking at maybe getting into racing them. They seem like a great place to start, and look like a lot of fun!

A buddy of mine had a couple Legends for a few years. When he first got in he said it was a little less sanctioned but now all the cars are pretty much identical. He liked them and said they were a blast. I seen them run a couple of times and they do look fun...

Matt,
Is that you standing between the cars towards the right hand side of that picture? Must be some strong sun up there in Minnie-soda. Shocked

Mike, I can get a turn-key car right now for between 8-10k. Considering how much some of us spend on wheeling rigs... its not that expensive.

Zac.... um, no, I could be out in the sun all day for 2 years and not even come close.... Silly Smart-ass ROTFL Blue Cry

Not bad price range to get into racing... seems like it would be fun.

I might look into this more next year, little late in the season here to jump in. I don't have 8 grand right now to even make this more than a thought, but hopefully if things pick up over the next 8 months, sponsors could be a reality again, right now, not a chance. I know a couple of business' that I could get sponsorship from, but not in this economic climate. Oh well, we'll see.
