HELP:front axle wont lock in 94 chevy

i have a 94 chevy chyenne 4x4 305 ifs of course i know there is a cable or some kind of mod out there to replace the thermal/ vaccuum locker that engages the front axle when put in 4 wheel drive
if anyone knows what im tlkin about please help

You can get a cable actuator through Summit Racing (or I'm sure other such places have one), I can't remember the brand right now though. My buddy just bought one and it's cheaper than a new actuator but we haven't put it in yet so I can't vouch for quality or anything.

its called a posi lock and costs about as much as a new thermo actuator.

or you could go the better route and put a solid axle under the truck Thumbs Up!

thats my plan to put a ford dana 44 under her but i cant get all the parts and funds are low
