I just bought a '96 Dodge 3500. I just bought some Michelin XL 11.00x16 tires for it and I have a 4.5 skyjacker on the way for it. I want to add some spacers to the front springs for a little more lift. Is this alright? I was thinking about some 3" spacers b/c I have a ranchhand style bumper that must weigh 200-300 lbs. Also, if I wanted more lift in the rear could I add blocks to the skyjacker blocks?
I think I would stick to a 2" spacer. 3" is pushing the limits of the arms and steering. I wouldnt stack blocks in the rear. If you want to block it, just get one block that replaces the factory block that is 2" taller.

Don't stack blocks EVER! And as for the front suspension, I would just leave it be with no coil spacers. I run a 300 lb. Reunel bumper w/ a M12000 Warn winch and my coils have never sagged. Just makes sure SJ is sending you the diesel coils and you'll be set. Oh, BTW, not sure how tall those Michelins are that your going to run but I fit 37" SSRs under my rig and have plenty of flex and minimal rubbing.
Alright just got my lift in today. Skyjacker got it to me in 3 days! I guess I will go w/ the 2' spacers and just get some blocks made for the back. I saw on skyjackers website where it said not to use blocks w/ any aftermarket rear spring setup. What is the deal w/ that? Hopefully this weekend I will get it installed. Do yall have any tips?
