DPF is gone!

For those of you that hadn't seen my dodge build, i recently bought a 2010 f250 with a 6.4L. I love the truck, but was not impressed with its horrible gas mileage (and yes i know once the motor breaks in the mpg will go up, but i wanted a bigger gain then 1.5 more mpg) so i decided on a DPF delete kit. I put on the Edge CS programmer and a cat/DPF delete pipe from http://www.dpfdeletekits.com. I am very impressed with the mpg gain, i went from 12mpg in town to 18.5mpg in town. The programmer goes up to power level 4 but i haven't had it above level 2 yet since i really dont want to hurt the motor or tranny. but all in all i am very happy with it, the install took about 2 hours (by myself) all together and it was simple.

Don't get rid of you dpf, you may still need it. A co-worker did the same thing with his F350, he wound up with check engine light and codes poor performance after a few weeks. He wound up regretfully putting it back on.

I'll be keeping the dpf system, that way if i need to i can reinstall it at anytime.

i had an 08 6.4L with everything removed and the spartan tuner. it was RIDICULOUS how much difference it made!!!!
