First some more info on your vehicle. Also what do you mean as in cheap and easy? a few hundred bucks or $1000? Do you have the tools to do it, or will a shop be doing it for you.
Cheapest way, weld the spider gears, the easiest way, buy a locker and install it your self. But without any info, its hard to help ya.
Cheapest way.. Lincoln lock them by welding the spider/side gear.. but then you'll have a spool not a locker.
You can get lunchbox lockers such as a lockright that goes inside the carrier and locks it... this will not require you to reset your gears...
and if you want a full locker light a detroit(unless you have a 14bff then its a lunchbox style) then you have to redo you gears since the locker replaces the carrier.
Ok so by welding the spider gears it will be constantly locked correct? I want to be able to turn them off and on. And I want to spend a couple hundred bucks but I don't want a piece of junk. So I want the cheapest decent lockers I can get. And I will most likely have a shop do it. But who knows, maybe I will!

RE: Cheapest/Easiest way to do lockers?
If you want a selectable locker its gonna be more then just a couple of hundred bucks. Not to mention if you have a shop do it, you will have more money to spend.
What kind of tires are you running? What are your plans for vehicle?
31x12.50 for now its my daily driver and I want it to be a very capable weekend warrior. Then later down the road I would like to get it set up even more.

sounds like you need to price some selectable lockers, because they dont come cheep.
I was just going to ask about ox lockers. Why dont you hear many people running them? They seem like a cheap and efficient way to lock your axles. How are they to install? is their any down side to them compared to a regular locker?
if your looking for a cheap locker use the OX lockers. they give you best bang for your buck. you could weld up the rear and luchbox the front, but if your going to have the truck on the road at all i wouldn't weld it. cable lockers aren't a bad idea if your on a budget.
