Belly Pan Gasket Repair w/ Pics

Yeah... I woulda done the M1 and a better throttle body... but there is a small thing that holds me back... give ya a hint.... you use it to buy stuff....
Silly

I do plan on that in the long run, and roller rockers... etc..etc... but I got's other things I need to do first.. so repair was my only option for now.

Realistically it took me 9 hours.. I had to wait an hour for my cousin and his buddy to run out to shop to get inch pound torque wrench... while they were at shop they piced up scan tool which just basically verified there were no other problems creeping up on me. Very Happy

I would recommend plug replacement... they were most likely oil fouled during your belly pan episodes...

I don't think ash deposits will burn off... they are more like concrete deposits.... Crazy

i believe hughes makes one. i have the website, just need to find it. if you really want to do it right go for the M1 b/c if you ask glen now, his aftermarket gasket blew too i believe.

the purpose of that pan is to bend you over and have fun. they make money on service and parts. all manufactures do it.

Nice write up Glenny Thumbs Up!

When that belly pan gasket goes, ever have a problem with a #7 cylinder misfire? I keep getting on for some reason and it's random, yet can't track it down.
