Archer's build 01-08-12, Bobbed and Dovetail
Ordered all my parts last week and they started coming in today, they called and said they should all be here by friday... Merry Christmas to me...



Received today:



Both 5:38 R+P gear sets and install kits

Both Rear 35 4340 axles shafts

Both Warn Superior 35 spline Hubs

Both Front Inner and Outer 35 spline 4340 front axle shafts



Should receive tomorrow:



Both Detroits (Rear has Tone ring Very Happy )

Front and Rear Wheel bearing sets





Should receive friday:



(2) 1350 yokes



Front inner shaft compared to D44 inner...

Rear 4340 shaft compared to standard 30 spline D60 shaft...

Warn Premium 35 spline Hubs...

Rear D60 degreased and ready to go get spindle machined to fit new axles... Should get that back tuesday...

Sweet Thumbs Up! Cant wait for more pics of the build up. Got a question, where did you get your 35 spline inners/outters for the front 60 and for how much if you dont mind me asking? Thanks.

Axles come from a 79 F-350...

All the parts came from Randy's Ring and Pinion...

Why did you go with a D60 rear? For what you do will that be strong enough?

Strong enuff? I'll be running a FF 35 spline 4340 chromemolly axle that measures a hair under 1 1/2" thick with a full Detroit and 1350 yoke... That'll be as strong as any 14 bolt and has a tonering that I don't have to machine to make it fit...

P.S. And I also don't have to use any Chevy parts on my Dodge which is a big plus and I won't have to add a Z71 to my screen name... Very Happy
