95 Grand Cherokee fuel door

well last winter my fuel door froze and i had to pry it open with a knife. For those who don't know the fuel door has a release inside. It broke completely recently and now my fuel door sways out and people honk constantly! I have looked all over for a simple chrome fuel door. I know they sell the bully aftermarket chrome ones for newer jeeps. I dont think it can be easily replaced stock. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a place to get a aftermarket one? i tried ebay already. - Thanks

Well i figured i'd try and help by looking but i cant fine one anywhere. If i were you i would just put a locking gas cap on there and take the fuel door off.

here's what i did is the cable lock still working thats the little pin that holds the door closed mine was broke off but still worked with the lift handle but the extention was broke off so i removed the part that unlocks the door and drilled a small hole dead center and put a screw into it and it works great
