Do I need to raise the seat to do a sub box under the rear seats of my ext cab? I am using 2-10" Kicker comp's.

If your buying one from an online store then yes. Right now I have a sub box under my bench seat, I haven't raised the seat yet and the sub box is 2'' from the front seat. I've heard that when you buy a pre-built sub box that ''fits'' these trucks you have to raise the backseat anywhere from 2-4''. Really it isn't that bad, plus it looks really nice if you ask me.

Here's mine. I did eights firing forward. I had to lift the seat about 3" for desired air space but if you need less then you don't have to. How do you want your subs to fire? Up, down, forward?

Don't have any finished pics of it for some reason...
