91 Landcruiser Alternator

HI All, had a quick question. Agreed to help my buddy work on his 91 Landcruiser. Need to put a new alternator in. Just wondering how tough of a job this is...Looks like it is pretty tough to get to. Any tips? Does the pump above the alternator need to come out?
