Transfer case is working "Front wheel" lights come on Actuator works, Front drive shaft locks in.... Whats the weak point in the Diff? Fork? Splines? and Ring and pinion...?

Never heard of this happening before but it could be the end of the actuator pin sheared off, making it not long enough to engaged.

The transfer case will lock the front shaft... sounds like the actuator not working. That is the weak point. usually they just need cleaning.

if the 4wd light is on then the actuator is working, the switch for the light is in the diff and only comes on when the actuator makes the contact
