Do I need an adapter if I want to run an NP 208 or 241, passenger side drop with a 4L60E? If it were up to me I'd just swap it with a 700R4 but this transmission is virtually brand new.

i believe you can just bolt on the pass drop in place of the driver drop, not 100% sure if it a easy bolt on as i have not done it but i know some solid axle guys have swapped so its possible, just need a 27 spline unit as far as i know

ok, my buddy has a 241, not sure what rig it came out of but as long as its 27 spline it should work out?

in theory yes
