I know its the same tranny but the one in my yukon is electronic, the TH700R4 is not, i want to know whats needed to switch over, or if a 4l60E from a 2wd will work or if it can be made to work

it is NOT the same tranny
the 4l60 and 700r4 are the same but the 4l60E is different and electronic
to swap in a 700r4 you need a tv cable bracket and the right throttle body to hook it up.
a 2wd trans would need to be dismantled to get the output shaft swapped to the 4wd one to work so its would be better in the first place to build what you have

your tbi throttle is different you need a 87-92 tbi for the hookup for the tv cable

the only thing that may be different is the plug type on the tps but you can swap your current parts onto a older tbi
