Post: #1

Just joined your forum seems way cool with alot of info, i have a 07 3500 and want to put 40-13.5-17 nitto mudgrapplers on it on mickey thompson classic lock wheels (17") i am looking at the rize 8" kit and am curious if anyone knows if i will be able to put these tires on my truck, i understand i may have to trim the inner plastic trim on the fender wells, also am curious if these wheels wheel clear my calipers.

Thanks
Dustin

A buddy of mine has an 07 CTD, and is running 40's. He is running a 6" kit. with alot of triming on the back of the front fenders. Its possible, but not without some Cut it Up

i think 40's are doable with 8"s without trimming as long as you have the right wheel combo...find something with around 5.5" of backspacing and stick with a 9" or less wide wheel, and you'll be a lot better off.

If it were me I would spend the money on a bigger lift rather than cutting up a brand new truck.

But also I wouldn't have bought a dodge. haha ROTFL

If you put a 3" BL on the list awith the Rize kit it should fit. Top Gun Customz just put a Rize kit on a 04. But they did a 3" BL and a 2 1/2" coil spacer aswell. That truck has 40's on it.
