2007 Head unit
I recently was given a new work vehicle; a 2007 ford with the stock 6 cd changer head unit. I tried to put some cd's into it (they are burned cd's), it sucks the cd in, says reading the cd, then says reading error and doesn't play it. Common problem with fords?

RE: 2007 Head unit
I have had the same issue. It depends on how you burn them. Im not sure exactly what causes it but some programs burn the disc differently or use a different format. I would burn an audio cd with two different programs like windows media player and nero. I just used a different program and everything was fixed. I will check and see why this worked for me.

I noticed it says MP3 on the cd player.....I thought it just meant there is a line in/out or something, I dunno.
